pearl harbor

 how sweet are these men? oh i just loved them so much!

that is a real anchor. a real anchor.

pearl harbor is a little bit eerie, and also weird how many asians are there. hmmm? whatever. but the museum is amazing and the u.s.s. arizona memorial with the oil bubbles that keep coming up! what is that! so creeps. i still haven't gotten my fix of pearl harbor ben affleck, josh hartnett, and kate bekinsale style. it's crazy how that's based on a true story right?

duke's

ummm, hi hottie.

yum. we ate at duke's our last night in waikiki right on the coast.

waikiki is kind of uber awesome. with tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of shopping!

anything and everything! it's definitely a little bit amazing that the only thing i walked away with were pearl earrings from the ABC store. jeff was proud.

snorkel

this was cool. we saw a turtle and a jelly fishy. and i was actually a little bit scared of both of them. 

but i did try to pet the turtle, and he wouldn't have it. 

jeff. me. brother will.

no matter what though, every time i snorkel or scuba and the water gets cloudy, i seriously think about a shark just appearing in front of my and gobbling me up whole. eek!

holy luggage... 14 checked bags.

that's how we roll.

we stayed at the beautiful ko olina and we loved it.

we snacked on these delicious things all day.

sad to be home

it was sad to come home this morning, especially when we were locked out and waiting 20 minutes until inside. that was not fun. it was also not fun going to our apartment. our water heater died and flooded to our neighbors, and our heat is not working. good thing we have parents who do not live far away to share the heat. 

oh well, we are safe and sound, and are looking forward to christmas.

happy thanksgiving

I hope that everyone had a great thanksgiving!

With lots of food, family, and in some cases psycho shopping!

Jeff and I spent Thanksgiving in Midway this year.

It was so fun! Then we came down to SLC and of course made my family's

Thanksgiving that started at three...(five). We then headed back up to Midway, watched a good flick, and then Black Friday happened and I had to go to work at midnight. And I was 45 minutes late because of crazy shoppers who backed up the freeway! BOOOOO! People are so silly, I just love my sleep more than deals. ESPECIALLY when J.Crew's deals are the same the entire week prior.

But it was fun, and I get to work with my friend Sam.

but it was great and delish!

And here are the little cornucopia's that we made.

I had all the little gran kids helping me, and they loved it and were so great!

These are made out of ice cream cones, that were wet and microwaved and then bent into shape. Then filled with little candies. YUM.

Just so you know. Jeff and I are very thankful for many things.
